DR. TIMOTHY LEONARD
Professor Timothy (TJ) Leonard holds a doctoral degree in Education with a concentration in Instructional Leadership. He has taught reading to students of varying ages, and has engaged teachers in experiences to examine their instructional methodology. As a developmental reading instructor, Professor Leonard is focused on student growth while providing individualized experiences that students can leverage for success in future coursework.
DR. TIMOTHY LEONARD
An educator for more than two decades, Timothy Leonard has experience teaching in K-12 and higher education settings throughout CT and NY.
Currently, he serves as an assistant professor of academic literacy and linguistics at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York City as a full-time faculty member.
Dr. Leonard previously served as an adjunct instructor of education at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where he was involved in the Connecticut Literacy Specialist Program. A former English teacher and instructional designer at Middlebrook School in Wilton, CT, he also served as the assistant principal for curriculum and instruction at Somers Middle School in Westchester County, NY.
